John Zeppetelli devient le prochain directeur du Musée d’art contemporain

Vous l’avez peut-être vu passer sur le web ou les réseaux sociaux, la nouvelle a rapidement fait le tour: notre commissaire John Zeppetelli devient le prochain directeur du Musée d’art contemporain. Revoici le petit mot de notre Fondatrice et directrice, Phoebe Greenberg à ce sujet:

"Le Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal gagne tout un directeur, et moi je perds tout un commissaire. Ça fait plus de cinq ans que John Zeppetelli est le commissaire de ma Fondation pour l’art contemporain : DHC/ART. Je peux donc aisément affirmer que John sera toute une acquisition pour le Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, car je suis certaine qu’il mettra, comme il l’a fait pour DHC/ART, tout son cœur et toute son âme pour le bien du MAC. Autant je perds un grand allié, autant le MAC vient de gagner un grand connaisseur de l’art contemporain. Alors, merci John et bravo au MAC!”- Phoebe Greenberg

Nous tenons à souhaiter la meilleure des chances à John Zeppetelli pour les grands défis qu’il aura à relever et surtout à le remercier pour son travail remarquable au sein de notre Fondation.

You may have seen it online or on one of the social networks as the news spread like wildfire. John Zeppetelli will become the new director for Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal. Here is what our Founder and Director Phoebe Greenberg had to say:

“The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal gains an amazing director, and I am losing an amazing curator. For more than five years, John Zeppetelli has been curator for DHC/ART Foundation for Contemporary Art. I can easily say that John is a great acquisition for the Musée d’art Contemporain de Montréal, because I am positive he will be putting all his heart and soul into his work at MAC just like he did for DHC/ART. As much as I am losing a great ally, the MAC has just gained a great connoisseur of contemporary art. Thank you, John, and congratulations to the MAC!” – Phoebe Greenberg
