Du 21 février au 18 mars 2017, à la galerie Gora de Montréal (279 Rue Sherbrooke O, Montréal, QC H2X 1Y2), Caroline Durocher vous invite à l’exposition Nature de femmes. Photographe professionnelle depuis une quinzaine d’années et plus récemment animatrice culturelle, Caroline Durocher s’intéresse à l’intériorité de l’humain et tente, par la photographie, de révéler certaines facettes qui la compose. Une vingtaine d’œuvres photographiques seront exposées dans lesquelles les femmes et la nature explorent tantôt la complicité, l’harmonie, la beauté, tantôt le chaos, le paradoxe et la lutte qui existent entre elles. Cette exposition photographique se veut un hommage à la femme dans le cadre du 40e anniversaire de la Journée internationale de la femme.

Par la même occasion, Caroline Durocher inaugurera le 1er mars seulement un projet sur le bien-être intitulé « Je suis une œuvre d’art ». L’être humain est ainsi fait qu’il voit en lui le négatif et le laid avant toute chose. Sa perception de lui-même est ainsi faussée. L’artiste propose une réflexion personnalisée sur le bonheur. C’est un cadeau magnifique à s’offrir qui s’inscrit dans un processus d’estime de soi en donnant aux idées, aux émotions et aux souvenirs du participant une forme permanente positive dans un projet artistique. C’est un retour aux sources,à l’essence. Les personnes intéressées par le projet peuvent communiquer avec l’artiste.

From the 21st of February to the 18th of March 2017, at the Gallery Gora located at 279 Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal, Caroline Durocher invites you to her exhibition” Nature of Women”. A professional photographer for fifteen years and more recently a cultural facilitator, Caroline is interested in the inner dimension of the human being and tries, through photography, to reveal some of its facets. Twenty photographic works will be exhibited to showcase women and nature, highlighting at times their complicity, harmony and beauty but also the chaos, paradox and the struggles between them. This photographic exhibition is a tribute to Women as part of the 40th anniversary of International Women’s Day.

Caroline Durocher will also present , on March 1st only, a project on wellbeing entitled « I am a Work of Art » . The human being, as it is, often sees the negative and ugliness of itself before anything else. This self-perception is therefore flawed. The artist proposes her personal reflection on happiness. This becomes a wonderful gift to oneself by enhancing theself-esteem while giving life to the participant’s ideas, emotions and memories in the form of a positive and permanent art project. It is a return to basics and to the essence of life. Anybody interested in these projects should communicate with the artist.
